This place was not good. The rooms were filled with mold. Looked nothing like the photos! We booked a private room with a queen bed but got two single beds. You can smell the mold in the rooms (Maybe the dorms are better). The staff were not helpful, they pushed us off multiple times saying ‘one minute one minute’ then never came or never spoke with us. It’s scorching hot and extremely humid (not their fault) but the rooms had no fans/windows. The location is nice & close to the beach. That was a bonus. We had a 4 night reservation & left after one night. We had also emailed far in advance mentioning we will be arriving at the hostel at 7am because we had an early flight. No one was there to meet us or showed up until around 9:30am. Wouldn’t recommend.

Honestly amazing hostel! Great location (close to the beach), super safe and clean! They give you a key for the gate and your room, and they also make your bed every single day!🥹 Breakfast was also amazing! I’ve never had to choose breakfast from a menu at a hostel before so that was amazing! Stay here, you definitely won’t regret!:)
Nice place, basic amenities, friendly helpful stuff. I enjoyed the time here, it was quiet and good to go surfing every day, but dont expect any outstanding comfort
The best place to stay in Huanchaco! The whole village eats at this place and we think that says everything about the price and quality of the food!!!

I had a wonderful experience at my friend hostel.
Randy is a legend surf instructor, the beds are comfy and the restaurant was definitely the best value and tastiest food in Huanchaco... The staff offered great advice and it was a nice spot to meet people.
This place is great! Randy is the best, super helpful and an amazing surf instructor! The food downstairs is amazing! Hot showers, and best of all they let you check in early :) loved it here

Great place to stay, especially if you want to enjoy some surfing! Randy amd the staff are very helpful and will try their best to serve your needs. Highly recommended
I rented my board and wetsuit with Randy. He is very knowledgeable about the right board and suit, and gave me a lot of advises on when and where to surf. The gear was almost brand new! The restaurant is great and they sell related surf items too.
